Paris Hilton, entrepreneur and rich little rich girl, has been publicly critical of the decision to allow Victoria Beckham to stand in as one of American Idol’s judges.
Miss Hilton, who has a limited experience of the music business, but who produced her first album, Paris, in 2006, is alleged to have been “weirded out” that Posh Spice was considered as a fill-in Idol judge before she was.
Victoria Beckham, who recently celebrated her ten year wedding anniversary to hunky footballer, underwear model and “farva of free”, David Beckham, was chosen after dipsy Idol judge Paula Abdul made a surprise decision to quit after being with the show since its beginning in 2002
In an exclusive interview given to Hewdge’s editor GG Qlarq, Paris airs her grievances with the Idol decision and challenges the ‘Posh choice’.
GG: Paris, you printed an unflattering photo of Victoria on your website and claimed that she looks like a “bit of gristle”.
Why do you think you would make a better judge on American Idol?
PH: It’s like this huuuuge thing being on Idol. That skinny Brit doesn’t have what it takes
GG: What does it take Paris?
PH: Like, you know…..class….? Like, you know…. Posh by name, Trash by nature…
GG: Do you consider Victoria qualified as a singer and performer?
PH: Sure, but has she been to…like…prison or rehab?
GG: Go on….
PH: And has she been to….like…Beirut, Lebanon, in the Middle East, in ASIA? I was, like, there..…it was huuuuge!
